Chef Mike McPherson

Chef Mike approached me with the idea for his at-home fine dining service. His goal was to show that anyone could enjoy a fine dining experience in the comfort and privacy of their own home. He specializes in French, Italian, Japanese, and Southern cuisine, using organic, locally sourced ingredients. In exchange for much of this produce, he volunteers at farms throughout the Richmond area—a reflection of his community-first philosophy.

Seeing the potential of his vision, especially in Richmond’s thriving foodie culture, I worked with him on the following:

Creating a website for lead generation and reservations
Managing and updating the site for SEO
Setting up his social media accounts
Editing and uploading photos of his dishes

The website (https://www.chefmikemcpherson.com/) was designed as a clean, simple showcase for his work while driving inquiries and bookings. Looking ahead, I plan to expand his digital presence with a blog and short-form video content (YouTube Shorts/Instagram Reels) that highlight his recipes, cooking philosophy, and farm-to-table practices.

Chef Mike’s commitment to community, sustainability, and culinary excellence is the story I want to amplify. His work shows how food can bring people together, and I’m excited to help share that message.

Earlier this week, we had the privilege of hosting a 2-course dinner with two options for an entre, for 44 guests. Take a peek of the set up, event, plating, and clean up for this event!
