Experience
Throughout my time at Virginia Commonwealth University, I actively applied what I was learning through hands-on projects and freelance work with small businesses across Richmond. Much of this work focused on building a strong digital foundation, including developing websites, setting up Google Business profiles, and creating social media strategies to help businesses grow online. I also served as President of Collegiate DECA at VCU, where I led a team of students in marketing-focused initiatives and professional development.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, concentrating in Product and Brand Management. My coursework included Adobe Creative Suite, Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, International Marketing, Tableau, and Google Analytics (GA4), equipping me with both creative and analytical skill sets.
After graduating, I stepped into a Lead Digital Strategist role at a Norfolk-based advertising agency, where I led the development and execution of marketing strategies for clients across multiple industries. My work included digital strategy, branding, print advertising, paid media (Google Ads and Meta Ads), search engine optimization, content planning, and RFP proposal writing. I managed multiple client accounts simultaneously, with standout projects including campaigns for a rural internet service provider, a tattoo artist, and independent musicians.
Following my agency experience, I transitioned into a Web Content Assistant role at Christopher Newport University within the Office of Communications and Public Relations. In this position, I managed website support requests across departments, including faculty, athletics, and university leadership, and played a key role in developing the workflow for the university’s centralized events calendar.
During my time at CNU, I recognized an opportunity to combine my technical and marketing expertise. I began expanding my freelance work, partnering with small businesses to build and optimize their digital presence through strategy, web design, and data-driven marketing. Today, I continue to offer services ranging from website development to branding and digital strategy, with a focus on helping businesses grow with intention and measurable results.

About me
Growing up, I was very into music, fashion, and pop culture in general. It was deep enough to the point where people didn’t even know what I would be talking about, how new or nice the subject was. So I had to start to figure out how I could sell these musicians, brands, or artists to my peers. I perfected it, and most of the people around me would share whatever I’d be interested in because most trusted my opinion. This led me into reselling/trading clothing, which is what led me to my choice of Marketing as a career path.
In addition to sharing my niche interests or ideas with everybody around me, I was very into strategy. Whether it be video game knowledge, learning how to become better at chess, or being the best I could be at whatever sport I’d be playing, I had to know how I could leverage my advantages to win. This competitive nature is what led me into my major of Marketing: Product & Brand Management. I wanted to mix my ability to be creative with my analytical nature.
Studying at Virginia Commonwealth University was perfect for this combination! I got to see a bit of the real world living in Richmond vs. going to a traditional campus. I got to see how small businesses collaborated while some of the larger businesses helped around the city. This sense of community is what inspired me to want to do freelance work. I wanted to be able to help whoever needed it in hopes of helping them collaborate with other entrepreneurs. After graduating from VCU, I worked at an ad agency that shared those same values.
Today, I bring that same blend of creativity, strategy, and real-world experience into my work. Whether it’s building websites, improving SEO, or helping brands grow their online presence, my goal is always the same: to connect ideas with the right audience and create meaningful, measurable impact. I’m driven by the process of turning vision into results, and I’m always looking for new ways to help businesses stand out and succeed.
